Fiberglass-reinforced panels (FRP) can be installed over new or existing drywall to renew surfaces, cover damages, or to provide added strength or cleaning benefits. FRP is made of thin sheets of plastic resign with fiberglass strands which enhances the strength of the wall panels. FRP panels are resistant to moisture making them easy to clean.
Prior to installing FRP panels on existing walls, proper preparation will make the installation successful. All walls should be cleaned and free of holes, cracks, moisture and dust. For new drywall installations, FRP may be applied after the drywall has been mudded and sanded. If you require preparation of your walls, we can also help with this process.
